About Alleppey Kayaking Club
"Alleppey Kayaking Club is a locally rooted adventure and tour company based in Kallupurackal Nehru Trophy Ward, Thathampally, Alappuzha, Kerala — offering guided backwater experiences, water activities and complete tour packages led by certified local guides."
We are not a travel agency. We are not an aggregator. We are a family-run operation, born and raised on the backwaters of Alappuzha — the Venice of the East. Led by Rahul the Guide, a certified kayaking guide licensed by the National Institute of Watersports (NIWS), Goa, our team has spent years exploring every canal, village waterway, and hidden corner of the Vembanad backwaters so you don't have to guess.
What started as guided kayaking through the narrow canals of Punnamada and Kuttanad has grown into a full tour operation — covering houseboat stays, Shikara rides, speedboat, canoeing, beach trips to Alleppey and Mararikulam, temple visits, local market walks and airport or station transfers. Every experience is planned by someone who actually lives here, paddles here, and eats at the toddy shops and local restaurants we recommend.
